Case Analysis Outline- Aeropostale Aeropostale is retailer based in Malls across North America. They sell â€Å"high quality† casual clothing and accessories. Although they sell clothing for women, men and children they mostly target 14-17 year old adolescents. The majority of their business is done in the United States and Canada. It has a limited presence in international markets including the Middle East, Asia and Europe through licensing agreements. Aeropostale currently owns over 914 stores in all 50 states (including Virginia) and Puerto Rico and 75 stores in Canada with the company headquartered in New York City. The P.S. from Aeropostale line offers casual clothing and accessories for elementary school aged children. Although this is still a young brand, it has b een gained a large following because a lot of the items can double as school uniforms, in a world where many school distracts are making school uniforms mandatory. Because of this even as Aeropostale struggled the P.S. from Aeropostale line has rendered encouraging numbers. Not to mention that the P.S. from Aeropostale has much less competition in the target demographic than the regular Aeropostale line. So it is very possible for P.S. from Aeropostale to have much more success over time than the regular Aeropostale line. It is very important for the company to focus and put more energy into marketing and advertising the P.S. Aeropostale line over time. Another plus to the Aeropostale company as a whole is the fact that the majority of the business is done in the United States so they don’t have to deal too much with foreign currency variations.
